Our Lady of Guadalupe
Note to Parents: Pope John Paul II canonized Juan Diego and declared Our Lady of Guadalupe the Patroness of the Americas.
According to tradition, Mary, the Blessed Mother, appeared to Juan Diego on December 9 and again on December 12, 1531. Below is a story about it:
