Sharing Our Faith: Where Do You See God?

Like the air we breathe, God is in us and all around us. He shows Himself through sacred scripture (The Bible). God is also revealed to us through church tradition, (all that Christ entrusted to the apostles), which includes the Sacraments and is reflected through the lives of the saints. God reveals Himself to us through the Incarnation, (His act of becoming man through Jesus). The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that "God shows us in Jesus Christ the full depth of his merciful love." [65-66, 73]
How often do we stop and think about God's proximity to us and His action in our lives? Sometimes we see God in other people. Watch this short video about finding God:


Sometimes we notice God in His awesome works of nature:
I see God on the Great South Bay.

 Sometimes we see God in the creative work of other people-
I see God in an object I found that someone left behind. 


Activity: Where do you see God? Submit a picture and brief description to your Faith Formation Google Classroom. We will post your entries here if you write "OK to POST" on your submission. Title your reflection, "Where I See God."
