Letters for Our Parishioners at The Bristal: Service Opportunity for Students

Will you help us cheer up our neighbors at The Bristal?

During a recent  Zoom meeting, members of our parish youth ministry, OLS175, decided to write letters to the residents of the Bristal Living Facility.  Our parish volunteer Eucharistic Ministers normally bring the residents Holy Communion every Wednesday and pray with them, but unfortunately they have not been able to see them because of restrictions on visiting. The youth group suggested that community letters would help brighten the days of residents until they allow visitors at The Bristol again.

If you would like to be a part of this activity, feel free to write a letter, or draw a picture and drop it off at the Rectory; (put it through the mail slot of the door).  Our Pastoral Associate, Marlene Tully, will collect them and mail them out as a group.  If we can get your letter by Thursday, May 7th, that would be great.

Thank you for your assistance! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Marlene Tully at MTully@olsbp.com.

Below is a sample letter to get you started, but please do it your own way. We want to hear your individual voices that make you all so special!

SAMPLE LETTER-

I hope this letter finds you well.  I want to let you know you are a very special person and you are loved.  Keep the memories of the people you have met and all of the lives you have touched close to
you.

Sincerely,
The Jones Family
